Cookies: Cookie Preferences
Last updated: 2 February 2026
Our approach
We keep browser storage to a minimum. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.
What is stored
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Consent preference | Essential | Remembers your choice in the cookie notice so it is not shown on every page | Until cleared |
| phb-check-* | Local storage (functional) | Saves ticks on the outdoor packing checklist on your device only | Until cleared |
Managing your preferences
You can accept or decline non-essential storage using the cookie notice shown on the site. You can also clear cookies and local storage at any time through your browser settings; the site will continue to work, though your checklist ticks will be reset.
