Who we are

What we collect

We do not offer accounts, enrolment or payments. The contact tool on our contact page runs entirely in your browser: it formats your text for copying or downloading and sends nothing to us. We only receive personal data if you choose to email us, in which case we process your name, email address and the content of your message to reply.

Our hosting provider may record standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security and reliability. These are kept for a limited period and are not used to profile you.

Lawful basis

We reply to emails on the basis of our legitimate interest in answering learner questions. Server logs are processed for our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure.

Storage in your browser

The packing checklist saves your ticks in your browser's local storage. This stays on your device and is never sent to us. See our cookie preferences page for details.

Retention and sharing

We keep email correspondence for up to 24 months, then delete it. We do not sell personal data or share it for marketing. Service providers such as our email and hosting providers process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you may request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal data, object to processing, or ask us to restrict it. Email us to make a request. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
